    Default Rubio Snapshot..

Much of my time is spent between being a husband (celebrated 4yrs in May) and a father (Jaeden just turned 4 and Mannex is 6mo), and working at WorldMark by Wyndham at our corporate office here in the Seattle WA area. Spending time with family (second oldest of 14 kids) friends, playing and watching sports, outdoor activities and poker.. Pretty much in that order. This was my first year in a few that I did not attend the WSOP(My investor is planning a return trip in 2011). After my tour in the USMC I did security for the Seattle Mariners an addition to various part-time sales jobs.

I salute you for being associated with Ken Griffey Jr. in some form. He is my favorite player of all time and with Barry Sanders my favorite athlete(s) ever. I grew up in Montana where I could catch Mariner games only. I became a Griffey, Buhner, Johnson, A-Rod, E. Martinez, T. Martinez, and Dan Wilson fan... Sadly I've only been to such a beautiful place only a few times in my life but I love the northwest.

Also, cheers to you for a successful marriage to this point and also raising two great (hopefully) kids.

Sorry to here that after 31 years it still didn't work out.. Sounds like some beautiful things come out of it though. WSOP stands for World Series of Poker.

I may come to you with questions about investing Jeff. That is something I would like to learn more about also.. I'm finally making the kind of money that will allow me invest a little and slowly build a portfolio. As far as the M's are concerned, that is easily one of the most fun jobs I've ever had. I was fortunate to meet some amazing people. I was the only Marine on staff when 911 occured. I was then asigned to the clubhouse, and if you remember, we one 116 games that year... That clubhouse was electric!! If your ever in the Seattle area during the season give me a call, I'll get you down on the field for BP before game time..

I would be more than happy to lend any advice you need for investments. Let me know when you're ready and I'll try to help paint a sound financial picture. I remember the Mariner's great season like it was yesterday... They were unstoppable! I also wanted to thank you for your service my friend!

Adam, cheers to you my friend. I know no one wants to be melancholy but continued sorrow is the worst thing imaginable. When I think of past relationships that I'm happy to be out of I listen to the song "Gold Dust Woman" by "Fleetwood Mac." Do you have a particular song that you enjoy in moods like this?

Anyway Adam, if you need anything please let us know. You are a friend of mine and a friend of the forum. Cheers to you!

Thanks Jeff, I'll probably take you up on that in the coming months. Ideally I want to have a 5K to work with when I start making moves. Your welcome, serving my country was an honor and a priviledge.

As far as poker goes Adam, I can hold my own. I've been playing for about 7 years and been fortunate enough to have a financial backer for the last three...

it takes some serious will power to go to vegas and not gamble! a smart move though, as you rarely come out ahead. or if you do, having the will power to walk away is even tougher!
