    1. the auto watch is in great running excellent condition
    2. the case in sterling silver ... need buffing to bring out her gleams
the screw backs has 4 etched symbols; one of them is 925
then No.145, collection sterling silver - the crown is original too
    3. the leather is after market, but the buckle part is original
    4. seek yr professional valuation , and year of make

i thought of selling but then after reading through this site i would be tempted to keep

    tq so much
It is an outstanding watch - indeed one of Dubeys best.
Sterling silver, with a classic cushion case. Made to look like an early 'Trench' / 1920 watch. The dial looks enamel, but id metal. The lugs look fixed, wired but are modern.

Dual Time = Date - Fantastic timepiece

I think (personally) the new owners of D&S will soon destroy the company, your piece will then be rare. Here is mine:

    And beside a 1920 Longines.

It is a FANTASTIC timepiece. Keep it!!

(It would be rude to ignore a direct question) Nope!...I'm afraid I can't
My knowledge of D&S is limited to the general stuff I read in the watch magazines available at the newsstands.

The D&S is an awesome piece. One of my favorite watch brands out there. My friend Adam is mentored by the former owner of D&S.

I think yours might have the world "Index" in the title. I'm not sure, I haven't looked for a while. Very beautiful piece!

They're inexpensive high quality watches. I'm pretty sure Bernhardt is a forum sponsor and regularly post deals in the For Sale forum!

I can show you how to find out, if you'd like!

I like the way they operate. They make a Swiss Unitas movement available or, if you're on a budget, they have a less expensive Miyota movement. The quality is excellent for the money. Several members have Bernhardts, and no one has complained yet.

Too much effort to look through that list! I'm pretty sure the Bernhardt guy is Fdaytonatyme or something like that. Check the sales forum!

Their Officer's watch is pretty good looking. Some of their dive watches are pretty cool too.
Can you help me fix my watch?..Where does this: go inside this?: I guess that's what I get for buying it on eBay!!!
