Ladies cushion

Ladies' cushion watch, probably 1927. Not sure if the hands are original, since the catalog shows that style as a variant for the prior generation cushion (which lacks the small seconds dial) but not for this version. The band might be old stock, or even old Hamilton stock, but definitely not original to the watch which was sold on a black silk ribbon band (not cord). I doubt many of those ribbon bands have survived in wearable shape anyway.

The case looks like it's in good condition overall, but the engraving doesn't match the catalog illustrations. Then again, neither does the engraving on mine! Stupid line drawings. The dial is a mess, but could clean up nicely.

Not sure I'd pay that much for it, even though it's solid gold rather than gold-filled. Then again, if you deduct the cost of the service described by the seller, maybe.
